Been a long time

Wow, I can't believe I haven't posted anything on here in so long. A lot has happened. We had the most beautiful little girl on February 12, 2010. Melody Rae Serna. She is so precious. She will be 2 months old on Friday. Time has flown by way too fast. Mel just keeps growing, before we know it she is going to be graduating from high school. It's crazy!

So I'm really excited, I just bought the Dave Ramsey book, The Total Money Makeover, and the workbook. I am just waiting for it to arrive in the mail. I can't wait to get started on it.

This is my very short post in about 7 months. I can't write too much, might give some people heart attacks. lol

It's a definite!

So I had another sonogram today. Apparently the doctor who did it last time didn't get all the measurements needed so they had to reschedule me. Today's appointment was awesome. The doctor actually knew what he was doing so instead of being in the room for 45 min before my mom n grandma could come in, it was only about 10 min. He was a super good doctor. And plus he gave me three new pics and let us hear the heartbeat. It was wonderful! Sad though because Joe couldn't get off of work. But here are the new pics we got today! I finally got my gender pic so I can show everyone that it really is a girl! lol

We are having...............

So we went to the doctor today for the ultrasound. It took forever! The lady who was supposed to be taking all the measurements had no idea what she was doing. Poor Joe and my mom were getting worried because it took like 45 min for them to get all the measurements n stuff before they would let Joe n my mom in the room. But anyways, the screen wasn't as clear as the doctor would have liked, but he did show us the baby's lil butt and that there was nothing between the legs. lol So ladies and gentlemen it looks like we are going to be having a GIRL!!!!! :)

OOPS!

I can't believe I didn't post my last ultrasound pics. I thought I had. Well it's a little late but here they are. We find out Thursday what we are having. I'm really nervous, but will be happy with the outcome as long as it's a girl. lol jk I will be happy either way.

BUMMED!!!

I am so bummed! Alicia Mills text me on the 4th of July saying she had gotten engaged. So exciting! :) Then she called me last night to catch up on things. How am I doing, how is she doing, how did paul propose.............all that good stuff. And then while we were talking, in between her dad yelling n asking questions about how I am, she asked me to be in her wedding! I was so excited n said of course. When is the wedding??? Then she said.......Feb 13! Well that put a damper on things for us. :( My due date is Feb 15 so I can't be in the wedding. My luck I would go into labor during the ceremony. "Does anyone object?" And there I go running and screaming out the door in labor! Lol What a picture that would be. So anyways, I told her I couldn't be in it but I would definitely do my very best to be there. And I told her I would help with anything I could. That's the best I could do. I'm really bummed about not being in the wedding. She's hoping I have the baby before so she can see it. That would be awesome. Well that's the latest news in my life, for now.

The Nubbly One

So I'm sure everyone has heard by now that Joe and I are expecting. My due date is Feb 15, which should be interesting because Blake was born on Feb 17. Also, my cousin Vanessa is due around Feb 2. So Feb is going to be on crazy month for us. But should definitely be full of excitement. Any who, here is a picture from our first ultrasound. The baby is so tiny! No hands or anything yet, just little nubblys. It's so cute! :) We are so excited. It was so cute watching Joe's face light up into a HUGE smile when the baby came on the screen. I will always remember that moment. One of the best!

New phone!

So I finally got a new phone. What better time to try it out than while I'm at work? Lol So it's a pretty boring and slow day thus far. I'm just sitting here talking to guests and my co-worker ramond about the Laker's Riots or something like that. Well I have to go do my inventory. I'm off. :-)
